Apply to CREATE

The Cybersecurity CREATE graduate programs are specializations of existing graduate programs at RMC or Queen’s University. Students may apply at either university, based on their preferred course of study. For more details on the programs offered and to learn about their requirements, see the section on Programs of Study.

Cybersecurity CREATE Research Programs

To apply to one of the CREATE research programs, students must first apply to the appropriate program, indicating an interest in the Cybersecurity program in your application. Admission to all graduate programs requires meeting the standards of the program, as well as the availability of a supervisor to take you on as a student. Approach potential supervisors as you begin the application process, as capacity is limited.

As degree requirements differ between RMC and Queen’s University, be sure to consult the appropriate program’s requirements when making your application. Students must meet all regular degree requirements for admission into the program.

Students already admitted to one of the participating programs may transfer to the Cybersecurity program with the agreement of their supervisor, provided they will still be able to finish their course of study within the time limits associated with their degree.

Project MSc at Queen’s

The Queen’s University project MSc does not require thesis research, offering instead a greater number of courses and a final project. This MSc is typically only open to students taking it on a part-time basis.
